The Grade II listed Georgian House Hotel is situated in one of the UK’s most haunted cities… Derby!

AMBERLY CASTLE: A Haunted Castle You Can Actually Stay the Night In!
The Grade I listed 12th century Amberley Castle Hotel is located in the picturesque village of Amberley.
Today, the castle has been transferred into an amazing luxury hotel.
It's said to be haunted by the ghost of a young girl called Emily who committed suicide at the castle.
Her ghostly apparition has been seen by terrified witnesses in and around the Herstmonceux room!
The hotel was built in 1756 and since then has got a reputation for being very haunted.
Book either Room 10 or 12 at the hotel if you’re looking for some paranormal activity…
They’re both said to be very active!
The Georgian House Hotel’s infamous ghost is that of the man wearing a pin-striped suit.
He’s said to be the culprit for a lot of the paranormal activity which takes place within the hotel’s walls.
Especially the slamming of doors, moving objects and causing items to fall off shelves!
A ghostly apparition has also been seen in the hotel’s reception area, landings and hallways by both members of staff and guests alike.
The Miners Arms, Eyam
You’ll find the Miners Arms located on Water Lane in the village of Eyam.
The historic inn dates back to the 1630s when it was first called the King’s Head.
The previous pub which stood on the spot burnt down in 1929.
Two young girls called Sarah and Emily tragically died in the fire.
And it’s now said that their ghosts haunt the Miners Arms.
Witnesses have reported hearing their ghosts skipping, playing and giggling in the pub’s corridor.
Guests staying the night have reported that they’ve been woken by having their bedroom doors opened and closed by the ghostly girls.
The Miners Arms is also said to be haunted by the ghost of an old woman who dresses in black!
The George Hotel, Tideswell
Along the Commercial Road in the Peak District village of Tideswell you’ll discover the listed 18th century George Hotel.
The George is said to be haunted by a female ghost called Sarah…
Sarah was a barmaid at the George in Victorian times.
She became heartbroken when her husband totally disappeared from the face of the earth.
She searched high and low for him but sadly she never saw him again.
Apparently, after her death she didn’t stop her search as her ghostly apparition is often seen at the inn still searching for her long lost husband.
It’s said that in the 1930s guests fled in terror a party at the hotel when they saw Sarah’s ghost manifest in front of them!
