This old coaching inn is said to be haunted by a former housekeeper called Angelina.
It’s said that she was pushed down the hotel’s stairs and killed by her lover when she was pregnant with his child.
Other ghosts rumoured to haunt the Bell hotel are that of a former owner and little children.
Terrified witnesses have reported seeing ghostly figures in the bedrooms and wandering along the corridors.
Sudden temperature drops and ghostly orbs are other paranormal activity which has been reported to take place within the hotel!

To the rear of the Black Boy there was once a convent which probably accounts for the many sightings of a ghostly nun seen walking through the building.
