You’ll find the historic Black Boys Hotel situated in Market Place in the Norfolk market town of Aylsham.
Parts of the Grade II listed hotel date back to 1655.
Famous historic figures such as Daniel Defoe, Horatio Nelson and Princess Victoria are all said to have visited the Black Boys.
The hotel is also said to be haunted…
The hotel is said to be haunted by the ghost of its first landlord Richard Andrews.
He was killed by a parliamentarian soldier who was billeted at the inn during a fight.
Local legend says he was buried in the grounds of the hotel and now haunts the premises!
