AMBERLY CASTLE: A Haunted Castle You Can Actually Stay the Night In!
The Grade I listed 12th century Amberley Castle Hotel is located in the picturesque village of Amberley.
Today, the castle has been transferred into an amazing luxury hotel.
It's said to be haunted by the ghost of a young girl called Emily who committed suicide at the castle.
Her ghostly apparition has been seen by terrified witnesses in and around the Herstmonceux Room!
The Haunting of the Boot Inn
You’ll find the Boot Inn situated on High West Street in the Dorset seaside town of Weymouth.
The Grade II listed pub dates back to the mid-17th century and is one of the oldest in the town.
The pub has gained a reputation over the years for being haunted.
Former landlords of the pub have reported hearing heavy phantom footsteps and somebody singing sea shanties in the bar area.
Doors opening and closing on their own accord, furniture and wall decorations being mysteriously rearranged, strange knocking noises and lights turning themselves on and off have also been reported.
One landlord once for a split second saw the ghostly apparition of a seaman wearing heavy sea boots when he was down in the pub’s cellar.
And about ten years ago an apparition of a ghostly coachman was seen the pub’s backyard.
