The Haunting of the Globe Inn

You’ll find the Globe Inn situated along East Street in the Dorset seaside town of Weymouth.

The Grade II listed building dates back to the 19th century.

One of the cleaners of the inn reported seeing the ghostly apparition of a young girl running across the bar area of the pub on more than one occasion.

She described the little girl as being about seven years old and dressed in Victorian clothing.

The little girl always appeared at the back wall of the bar and ran diagonal across the room disappearing as she neared the door.

Apparently, the bar room was once part of the accommodation section of the inn so the ghostly little girl may’ve thought that she was running across her living room!
