The Haunted King’s Arms
29 High Street, Malmesbury SN16 9AA
You’ll find the King’s Arms situated along Malmesbury’s High Street.
The historic Grade II listed building dates back to the early 17th century when it started life out as a private house.
It’s said to be the oldest pub in Malmesbury.
During the stage coach era it became a popular coaching inn.
In the early 20th century the much like landlord of the King’s Arms, Harry Jones, sadly died in Room 9 of the inn.
It’s now said that his ghost haunts the room and the bar area of the pub.
Members of staff who’ve seen Harry’s ghostly apparition describe him as being portly with a big smile!Click Here to Stay in the King’s Arms
