You’ll find the King’s Head Hotel along Market Place in the market town of Cirencester.
The Grade II listed hotel dates back to 1860 although there has been a coaching inn on the spot since the mid-14th century.
The King’s Head Hotel is said to be haunted by the ghostly apparition of a monk without a face.
Apparently it manifested in front of one member of staff and scared her so badly that she immediately quit her job!
Members of staff have also reported seeing a ghostly apparition of a Cavalier from the English Civil War period wandering around the hotel.
