You’ll find the New England Hotel along Wide Bargate in Boston.
The New England Hotel has a great ghost story to tell…
A couple of guests were returning to their room at the hotel one evening when they were met outside their door by a man in white overalls.
The man was very apologetic and explained he’ll be working in the room next door for the next twenty minutes but would try to keep the noise down.
Well, for the next hour the guests could hear the man banging and sawing away.
In the morning the couple complained to the hotel manager that they were unhappy with all the work noise the night before.
He was surprised and explained that there weren’t any workmen at the hotel.
A fellow member of staff overheard the conversion and told them that the room next door to them was haunted by the ghost of a carpenter who had died during the 1970s!
The phantom carpenter isn’t the only ghost said to haunt the hotel…
A member of staff was scared witless one day when she saw the ghostly apparition of a lady in a long blue dress appear in the bar area!Click Here to Stay in the New England Hotel
