AMBERLY CASTLE: A Haunted Castle You Can Actually Stay the Night In!
The Grade I listed 12th century Amberley Castle Hotel is located in the picturesque village of Amberley.
Today, the castle has been transferred into an amazing luxury hotel.
It's said to be haunted by the ghost of a young girl called Emily who committed suicide at the castle.
Her ghostly apparition has been seen by terrified witnesses in and around the Herstmonceux Room!
The Haunting of the Old Rooms Inn
You’ll find the Old Rooms Inn situated on Cove Row in the Dorset seaside town of Weymouth.
The Grade II listed pub dates back to 1618 when it started life out as a home for Thomas Giear.
It later served as Weymouth’s Assembly Rooms until 1785.
The ladies toilets of the pub were once said to be haunted by the ghost of a woman.
Witnesses described her as being very solid looking with a big smile on her face and wearing smart period clothing.
Sometimes she would already be by the washbasins when the witness entered the toilets or she would appear behind the witness when they were washing their hands.
In both instances, once spotted she would disappear into thin air!
Nobody knows exactly who the ghostly woman was as there’s been no reports of any women dying on the premises.
