The Haunted Queen’s Head Hotel

79 Market Street, Ashby-de-la-Zouch LE65 1AH

Along Market Street in the little market town of Ashby-de-la-Zouch you’ll find the Queen’s Head Hotel.

The Queen’s Head Hotel is an old black-and-white beamed three-story coaching inn which dates back to the 17th century.

With such a long history you probably won’t be too surprised if I told you that this old coaching inn has a reputation for being haunted…

Phantom voices and apparitions of little children have been witnessed in the hotel.

But what really spooks the Queen’s Head’s members of staff is the ghostly tall man dressed in dark clothing.

Terrified members of staff who have mistaken him as being a guest get the shock of their lives when he disappears into thin air right in front of them!

To tell you the truth, they really don’t like him…

They say he gives off a presence of evil!
