High Street, Crawley RH10 1BS
You’ll find the Ramada Crawley Gatwick situated along the High Street in the West Sussex town of Crawley.
The hotel was previously known as the George Hotel.
The Grade II* listed former coaching inn dates back to 1615.
Members of staff and guests alike have reported strange events taking place within the hotel.
A ghostly figure has been seen wandering around the hotel.
The locked door on the broom cupboard is often found open and the hotel’s lights have turned themselves on and off by their own accord.
These ghostly goings-on are blamed on the ghost of a former night porter called Mark Hurston who was found dead one night in the early days of the hotel.
