The historic Royal Hotel is a 19th century Grade II Regency listed building which is situated in Station Road.
Members of staff at the Royal Hotel regularly report paranormal activity taking place within the cellar.
Barrels of beer are mysteriously moved and lights switched on and off on their own accord.
In the hotel’s dining room a ghostly apparition of a man is often seen sitting on his own and there was also the time when a phantom guest checked into her room!

Lots of paranormal groups have investigated Jamaica Inn coming to the conclusion that the most active parts of the inn are the Smugglers Bar, the Restaurant, the Stable Bar and Bedroom 4.
