| On 07, Aug 2017

The Hauntings of the Royal Victoria Hotel

A dark shadowy figure of a man has been witnessed by guests in the corner of one of the hotel‘s rooms.

The ghostly figure is believed to be the ghost of a wealthy 19th century businessman who discovered his wife was having a fling with a young man called Jimmy Coles.

Jimmy was later found with his throat cut in an alleyway!

Another ghostly apparition of a man is said to haunt the hotel.

The ghostly grey man hasn’t been seen for many years.

It’s believed that he’s the ghost of a former manager who tragically died together with his dog in a fire at the hotel.

His phantom dog has also been seen running up and down the corridors of the Royal Victoria!
