The Haunting of the Ship Inn

You’ll find the Ship Inn situated on Bleke Street in the Dorset town of Shaftesbury.

The Grade II listed building dates back to the 17th century although it has only been a pub since 1937.

No ghost has been seen in the pub but paranormal activity has been reported.

Sudden temperature drops, unexplained crashing noises coming from the cellar, objects falling off shelves by their own accord and phantom footsteps running around the upper part of the pub are all eerie events which have been reported to have taken place within the pub.
