The main ghost said to haunt the Mercure Dunkenhalgh Hotel is that of a French lady called Lucette who was once a governess at the house.
Guests and members of staff alike have witnessed Lucette throughout the hotel.
Her ghost tends to be seen more around the Christmas period.
