The Haunted Walton Hall Hotel
Walton, Warwick CV35 9HU
The Grade II* listed country house dates back to 1858 when it was first built for Sir Charles Mordaunt by the architect Sir George Gilbert Scott.
In its time the Gothic Revival mansion has been a home, a training camp for military cadets, a girl’s boarding school and today a hotel.
Walton Hall is reputed to be haunted…
Every five years on the 9th October it’s said that a ghost of a pale horse minus its rider gallops through the hotel’s gardens.
The house itself is said to be haunted by a ghost of a young man who some say is the rider of the phantom horse!Click Here to Stay at Walton Hall
