The Haunting of the Waterloo Passage
Spooked witnesses walking along the Waterloo Passage have reported seeing the ghostly apparition of a little girl.
They describe her as being dressed in ragged clothes and having her hair in braids.
She seems to be happy though as she sings and skips along the passageway!
The little girl is said to be the ghost of a local fisherman’s daughter from bygone times called Molly Hawkins.
It’s said that she fell into the River Bourne and drowned after being chased by local traders she stole some apples from.
